Who We Are
The Zeidler Center is made up of hundreds of diverse facilitators in the Greater Milwaukee area and beyond who we’ve trained to facilitate small and large group processes.
We are committed to local &
Our facilitators come from
the communities we serve.
Our facilitators come from a wide range of experiences and professions, but they all value the power of listening circles, and believe in the actions of facilitated dialogue – building trust, humanization, deep listening, and speaking from the heart. We offer a public facilitator training every month, and private trainings for organizations and groups. Contact us for more information.

How do you want to show up in life today? That is a question Jules Maloney tries to ask herself every day. The answer often includes being playful, mindful of words and just being nice. She is guided by the principles and practice of Nonviolent Communication. From this work she helps organize compassion based family camps, runs Empathy Booths, teaches individuals and organizations tools for richer communication and adults how to slow down and enjoy the wonders of the moment with younger folks. She has an BA in International Studies, Economics and Peace Studies, a MA in Communication from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee and is a Strengths Based Development Coach. Jules is thrilled to be part of the Zeidler Center as an Instructor for the Facilitator Trainings. She lives in the Riverwest Neighborhood of Milwaukee and cherishes time with her family.

Dr. Anita Zeidler
On Monday, September 3, 2018, we lost our dear friend and board member Anita Zeidler. She was the daughter of our Center’s namesake, Mayor Frank P. Zeidler, and she served as Treasurer on the Zeidler Center Board for 4 years. Her zeal for the Zeidler Center, and especially its work on behalf of the common good, will be missed beyond measure.
(Now seeking advisory board members. Contact Anna Opgenorth (firstname.lastname@example.org) for more information.)
